Both look very nice indeed. I think that the Victor is perhaps a tad pricey, but then, it's been on wanted lists for many years, even though Revell released the ex-Matchbox kit again recently, and is sure to sell out even before it hits the shelves.
I mentioned a couple of years back, that there was more than a rumour of Airfix releasing a 1/48th scale Vulcan (which would possibly mean a Victor would follow?), but nothing has been heard since. The info came from my LHS owner, who got it at a trade show, I think at the Airfix stand, so not just 'modeller's gossip'.
Now that would be a kit to see, and bl**dy massive too !
Good job it didn't (or hasn't ... yet ?) happened, as I have no room to display one, so would have to live in the 'Tin Tent' and use the house for storage and display !!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: "This ain't your fathers Airfix!" Good for them! A Golden Age indeed, though ironically not for the LHS.

Damn Jan, you did it again...
My LHS is just about emptied on plastic maybe a 100 a/c kits 40 ships .I went to Mobile to Hobbytown p/u my kits about an hour's drive one way not bad.It seems the shops are going hard at anything RC.
