I never built that Aurora I-19 kit. But I think I built the U-505 kit a couple of times. I was astonished, back in 2000, when we were clearing out the stuff in my Mom's attic and I found that U-505, nearly intact and missing only the deflector in front of one of one diving plane, complete with the little plastic cradle. A friend of mine had described the happy times he had spent in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry exploring the U-505, the staff even letting him get into areas the public was not allowed to access. So I mounted the model on a piece of wood, boxed it up and shipped it to him. He was astonished to receive it, even more so when he found the USPS had treated the box so badly that the bow of the sub was sticking out through the cardboard box but was still undamaged.

I've checked this out on their website and noticed they have not reproduced the Red 3 correctly in the decals and used the wrong Werk Nummer.
So I have sent them a pic of the correct shape of Red 3 from an image I had found a while back and told them the W.Nr. is 600565 confirmed by Jerry Crandall before his passing so lets see if they do something about it....
