Hi all. I am from Germany and the name was my nickname at a museum. I reuse scrap from aircrafts (JU-52, ME 262, P-38, Breguet Atlantic, Broussard) and helicopters (BELL UH-1D, 205, 212, 412) to build stools and a few cabinets, all done together with a friend of mine since 2007. In some cases we got scrap-pieces over the years, we do not know where they are from and so we hope you can help us.

Willkommen bei uns zuhause.

Where in Germany are you? I'm a Schwab in America.

Hi, we are living (and our workshop is) about 20 kilometers east of Cologne (at the River Rhine).

Nice. I was born in the Bad Kreuznach area, but grew up and lived most of my life in the Stuttgart area. My wife is from the Weil der Stadt area. We live near St. Louis in the USA. We fly back to Germany to visit family every year. I cannot wait for this Covid shit to be over so we can go again.

We also are waiting to see Covid finished because we hoped to make a little public relation action in 2020 but everything has been cancelled. Now we look for 2021. Have you ever been at the Speyer aircraftpart fair at the Technik Museum? That is the place we visited for some years to meet european aircraft specialists and to buy our raw material and tools.

Welcome from England.
Not sure what aircraft the first part you posted is from, but looks like a cowling panel, possibly not German.

Why do you think it could be a "foreign" part? For me it is not important whether it is german or not. I only would like to know.
I thought the poor quality of the hinges could be a late war german construction. But I am no expert for such questions.

I've been to the museum many times, but not to the fair.

I agree, the hinges do look like the German type, and the part very well may be German, but the internal strengthening frames look vaguely familiar to me, possibly American, but I don't know from what type.
Possibly someone here can identify it.

Welcome aboard, Truffle Pig! Love your username, finder of gastronomic gems amidst the decay of the forest floor. I used to be a wrench twister on "Whistle Pig" Fokker F27s before I moved on to driving Be-02s (1900s), and almost adopted that as my username.
