A new kind of cloud?

Some of those may have been filtered, but some definately look natural.

We have some amazing cloud structures that happen in this area because of the wind currents and the mountains interact with the weather patterns. Often, the rising or setting sun will shine under the clouds and light up the tips of the clouds, and give them that awesome lighting effect.

Here's a few examples of that type of cloud that I have taken over the years. I have some that are far better, taken with my Pentax. These were grabbed by my trusty old Kodak DC3500 I use for work.

I've seen clouds like that in NZ - once the whole sky looked like the Sahara desert inverted! It was explained that it was caused by the the huge bush fires in Australia!!!
