I agree. Don't know if its the lighting, but the finish, and canopy, seem to have a slightly 'pitted' look ?

Dust in the Future coat I would bet dollars to donuts. But I so like that bird, I'm willing to overlook it. The penultimate in radial engine fighter development, in my opinion.
