This one I like. To me Andy, the paint mottling looks as though something like a tooth brush or something similar was gently dotted over the grey.

I really like that one. Anyone know the brand name of that grass used on the base? Does it come in pads? Roll?

Very nice indeed. I'm interested in the grass too - seen various similar types, sometimes described as 'Tufts', but can't remember the brand names.
