What are the rules for an unofficial groupbuild? Can I enter another one?
I started today with Italery 1/720 Admiral Graf Spee model. A nice and very small model.
It has biplane aircraft, so I guess it is pre 1938. Colour scheme is anybodies guess. As far as I understood, the hull is a medium grey colour, the superstructure being of a lighter grey. The horizontal parts of the super structure is mostly dark grey and the deck is unpainted wood. Of course this is all guess work from black-and-white photos, so I might be totally wrong. Most schema's feature darker patterns of green, blue or dark grey (in my opinion the green is illogical, but it keeps appearing on pictures) but the darker stripes were only applied when the war started, so I can leave that out.

Well if this thread is in the wrong place, please be free to move it.

There are no rules! That's what makes it unofficial. Just start your thread in this folder.

I have some grey paint a little bit darker than you need.

So you can see the superstructure is slightly lighter than the hull.
The black-and-white striping on the turrets was applied during the spanish civil war. Does anybody have a full picture of that?
