Remember in ww2 the American "experts" were still saying that the Japanese were myopic and flying wooden aircraft long after Chennault had warned them about the new Japanese monoplanes and how good their pilots were.

Any information on what will happen with Wagner operations in various African nations and Syria?
One hopes they all get shut down. Prizgozhin may get some points for being anti-Putin, but this doesn't mean that he's some shining star of goodness. Wagner Group's job was to support oligarchical and generally anti-democratic governments, and Prizgozhin certainly didn't object to Wagner Group's habit of cheerfully killing civilians

Hmmm...based on this speech by Putin, I'm guessing most Wagnerites will relo to Belarus:

Let's now hear a bit more from Russian President Vladimir Putin's address on state TV.

Putin thanked the nation for unity, adding that all necessary decisions to neutralise threat were taken at the very beginning, and "the mutiny would have been suppressed anyway, organisers realised their actions were criminal".

Putin told Russians those who staged the "mutiny" wanted Russia to lose "and our society to drown in blood, but they miscalculated".

He went on to thank all security services "who stayed loyal to their oath" as well as pilots who died.

He added that steps were taken to avoid major bloodshed, "but it took time".

"I thank Wagner soldiers and commanders who did not shed blood - you can sign a contract with the Ministry of Defence, or move to Belarus," he said.

Is the CV90 amphibious?

My question is: With the Russians raiding Prig"s headquarters and capturing three van loads of money, how will the Wagner boys get paid? And if they don't, how will they like it?

I don't think it was just the last money of the Vagner/Prigozhin. Well, they are criminals after all. Armed criminals. Battle-hardened armed criminals. I'm sure they'll come up with something very creative.

I like a theory by YT commentator, Jake Broe. Remember wondering "how is this guy still alive?" regarding any number of Russian personalties? They are alive because the FSB allows it. The FSB, might be the power behind the throne. FSB isn't a friend of the Russian MOD. The FSB isn't too happy with Putin either. Maybe they're keeping the "popular?" Prigoshin stashed until the next election. I'm really condensing and simplifying Mr. Broe's presentation but the FSB may sort of be like the Praetorian Guard.
