I read this on the B29 website
"Dear B-29 Group and Friends:
I have just learned of the passing of one of the greatest men I have ever known. Henry Huglin was not only a fine commander of our 9th Bomb Group on Tinian but he was one of those rare individuals who lived his life afterwards as a gentleman and friend we all can admire. The world has seen some great individuals in the period of my lifetime but none of them can top the character and honesty of Henry Huglin.
This is a moment of sadness for me,
Earl Johnson
9th Bomb Group"
Here is a link for his biography.
