Is that camo a decal or is it painted.

I did an old WW1 aircraft back when I was a kid and it was a decal. I myself did not like the decal however and I was not experienced eneogh to get a good looking paint job. I went with the decal....:|

I think it is a decal ,although it can be also painted. Many firms offer their WW1 models with lozenge decals, for instance Eduard...Additional decal sheet are also avialabel in shops ,Techmod for example. You can buy also special masks for lozenge painting,I've seen these somewhere.

Adler and Wurger, it is a decal overlay, a damn good job thats for sure.

Next up an F9F Panther the "Bridges at Toko-Ri" comes to mind....

Undoubtedly the WW1 and WW2 German planes camos are the most interesting patterns in all the world.Cool Albatros, especially that Albatroses were built in my town.THX Wayne.

:laughing6:
But I think the purple colour was converted into RLM75 Grauviolet which was used during WW2

The 18 is my favorite plane that sucks. The newer Super Hornets are an awesome weapons platform and dogfighter.

and one more F-18m these markings seem to be very popular.....it does look go0d though!
