Is that camo a decal or is it painted.

I did an old WW1 aircraft back when I was a kid and it was a decal. I myself did not like the decal however and I was not experienced eneogh to get a good looking paint job. I went with the decal....

I think it is a decal ,although it can be also painted.Many firms offer their WW1 models with lozenge decals,for instance Eduard...Additional decal sheet are also avialabel in shops ,Techmod for example.You can buy also special masks for lozenge painting,I've seen these somewhere.

Adler and Wurger, it is a decal overlay, a damn good job thats for sure.

I really like the German paint jobs on there WW1 aircraft.

Undoubtedly the WW1 and WW2 German planes camos are the most interesting patterns in all the world.Cool Albatros, especially that Albatroses were built in my town.THX Wayne.

Imagine that purple color camo all over a 190.....

But I think the purple colour was converted into RLM75 Grauviolet which was used during WW2
