must say what a great day we had at the Midland air museum, the staff were fantastic and encouraged us all to sit in a lot of there exhibits, even opening the cockpits as we walked past certain aircraft !
got to sit in a Vulcan, Argosy, Meteor, Mil 24 Hind and a Harrier GR4 cockpit !!!!!
but admit the highlight for me was watching Dogsbody shoot up a near vertical ladder to get into that Argosy cockpit !!!

I'm still here!
Computer not yet collected for examination, but only got intermittent connection at the moment.
It was a great day at the museum, and I didn't really shoot up that vertical ladder - more sort of did an immitation of a struggling mountaineer, short of oxygen, trying too reach the peak of Everest!
