Colorado on fire

Well folks, things keep burning. I'm home again today as the academy is closed to all "non-essential personnel." New cadets are being processed in at the north end of the academy which is mainly unaffected by the fires from what I've been told. I'll update as I hear more news.

Joe what is the acreage burned so far in the Colorado springs area if they have said ? this is totally insane, am hearing hundreds of homes lost .................... true ?

200-300 homes gone, close to 19000 acres burned.

Sh** that is just plain crap news. any more rain in sight guys ? hopefully the temps are going to subside ?

Terrible, just terrible. We have been through a few bad fires here in SoCal too, so I know how helpless it feels. Prayers will continue for cooler, damper weather and a good break for the firefighters.
