That is the private strip Mike Bogue and John Crocker were part of when they set it up and developed the property. I had done sign work on Crockers P-51 "Sumthin Else", and an interior sign for Mike many years ago. There is a B-23 sitting on the property For Sale I believe. It was used in the movie "Tucker". It was a Generals hack in WWII. I got to take a ride in it way back when. Mike used to rebuild round engines at the Oakland Air Port before moving to Eagles Nest.
Sad about the mishap. I wonder what kind of damage was done to the Fury.
