Sorry to say this is nothing new Doughboy.
It just seems to be getting more notice these days.

Different sport but he had disasterous results from his use of steroids.

I don't condone it but I don't know how it is going to be stopped.
Not as long as mangement knows about it and turns a blind eye to it just to win some games.

Nothing to be sorry about Doughboy.
You didn't know and I wasn't trying to correct you just inform.
The media makes this seem like a new thing when it's not.
Some form of it has been going on for longer than I have been alive too.

It's a sad day when you learn your "heroes" may/probably have cheated.

Keep posting what is news to you, others may not know. :thumbright:

Well, it would explain his size. Sadly, this isn't the first time a major league player has used steroids, sure as H#ll won't be the last.

    Couple of things about steroids.....

    1) Jose Canseco's book was accurate.
    2) I never want to see any juice head make the Hall of Fame (A-Rod, Manny, Bonds, Clemens, etc.).
    3) I will never recognize any "record" set by a steroid user. In my eyes, Hank Aaron (755) and Roger Maris (61) still hold the career and season HR records.
    4) Science has got to come up with a test for HGH.
    5) MLB has got to test every player multiple times a season and make the consequences tougher (1st offense, suspended for 162 games, 2nd offense, banned for life.
