Actually both revolvers looked very similar. And both of them were widely used by the British Officer Cadre during the WW2.

Webley Mk.VI ...

Enfield No2 Mk.I ...

Because of the image size and quality it is quite difficult to state what the revolver the guy is holding in his hand but judging by the enlarged shots I would say that's the Enfield No.2 pistol but not the Webley one.

Both the revolvers had the wire attached in the mid of bottom of the grip. What is more, the Webley seems to be more slender of slightly longer barrel than the Enfield. But there are three details that allow me to believe it's the Enfield .. the first one is the shape of the hammer . The Webley hammer had, let's say, a "tongue" seen very well while the Enfield one looks like having the cock 'hidden". The second detail is the shape of the revolver body from the trigger guard towards the barrel. The Webley had two rounded steps there while the Enfield one only. And the third one is the shape of the foresight. The Webley had it lesser and attached slightly back at the barrel while the Enfield had it higher of more square shape and located at the beginning of the barrel muzzle. See below ...

Exactly Jan, exactly .. additionally have a look at the top edge of the pistol. The Webley one had two rounded steps and the Enfield had one only. In the most bottom enlarged shot it can be noticed that there is one "stair" only.

....and with a bit fiddling, tinkering, MacGyvering, you could possibly recreate the photo using this set....or a couple!
