Put your glasses on old chap...the wire is there...check the shadow of the wing...

an extra just to prove it's there before i post up a finished thread...

I added some Tamiya XF-57 Buff to my Gunze flat coat and lightly applied it along the direction of airflow over the whole upper surface there is a very subtle streaking effect to tone down and lighten the colours ever so slightly, you should pick it up a bit better in the finished pics.
