I'm the same Andy, print more than I need and sometimes for effect over lay the decals if needed. Also paint a couple of coats of setting solution on them the next day when the ink is completely dry.

Good stuff Andy, especially on the flaps. Looking at the decals for the rivets, I don't think that approach would work on my Ju 87, where clear perspex is joined by a line of rivets. However, if I used strips of clear, or perhaps slightly yellow-toned clear decal with dark 'spots' for the rivets, that might work for me.
The decals and the flaps, look the part Andy well done mate!
