Thanks again gents. I'll continue to plug away with this approach. I don`t want the black to stand out so much as on the NASM museum piece anyway.

Now that I've seen the actual aircraft, in colour, I have a better idea of what you're aiming for. I reckon you've cracked it Andy, it's going to look the canine accoutrements methinks!
The Ju87 joints/rivets are totally different, so I may end up 'faking' it by some engraving and paint - have to have a think, but plenty of time yet!

Looking back on those flaps Andy and they almost look as though they are nicely rounded. from the looks of it a light sanding of the outer cut edge and you will have a nice smooth curve. Just a thought.

Yup. Hadn't got to that point yet when I took the pics. The saw cuts are quite evident. 3 day weekend coming up so hope to get a bunch more done.

Finished the riveted frames on 3 of the 4 canopy sections, enough to get me moving to the next stage where I can paint the interiors of the side panels and get some more parts doe there. First, I have to dip these in Future again to seal the frame decals.

Yep! Looks the biz Andy.
Are some of those circular mouldings, which appear to be internal, ejector pin marks? If so, what a bl**dy awkward place to have them !

Thanks guys. Terry, some of the apparent blemishes are supports for wall-mounted cockpit parts such as the breaker panel and oxygen regulator. There are ejector pin marks but they are shallow and hidden on the inside surface. Most of the clear parts on the side panels will be painted with the exterior colour anyway so these will not be seen.

Thanks very much everyone. Future coat is still curing so no handling until at least tonight. May get some work done on the wings.
