Geo.. also you can use threads made of the the stretched sprue pieces. Just you have to stretch them as thin as possible. It is a good way for getting a such cable.

Thanks guys and I'll give you a shout in a bit Terry. Off to PG in about 10 minutes so I can check a few other places. In the meantime, I coated the fishing line with metallic gray and attached the port side. Doesn't look too bad.

More touch-ups. As much as I like Vallejo, it's not very sturdy.

Good stuff Geo. The 'thread' is similar to fishing line, but a mentioned, it's available in various colours. I have to go to a local shop to get some pins, so if you can let me know, I'll get a real for you at the same time.

Thanks for that photo Andy. At least I know what to look for now in case the spool I got isn't right. This is what I purchased...

Last of the tail control wires are on. As I said in a previous post, I like the Vallejo Color paint but it doesn't seem to like much handling, lots of touching up when I get home next week. I never primer my models as the other brands hold up well but maybe from now on I will. With my extended family moving out at the end of month, I'll finally be able to break out my airbrush and start practicing with it. Camp bus in 90 minutes, have a good week gentlemen.

Thanks guys and back at it. Most of the touch-up are completed and drying. Later tonight I'm going to use the lower wing colors and dry brush over the upper wing colors for a weathered look. In the meantime, I glued the landing gear struts together.

Thanks guys. Wings are on but not without a struggle. A test fit without the rigging showed a very tight fit, with the rigging it was nigh on impossible, something I had read about in a few builds. While trying to force the wings onto the spars, the rigging bowed immensely. It was only after I broke the ends of the rigging free, was I able to get the wings mounts. The problem being, I think, the top and bottom wing have to be pinched together slightly so they can be inserted into their respective slots on the center wing parts. I thought that I might have mounted the center wing parts slightly off center but this would have meant that one side would have been pinched and the other side spread but this wasn't the case as both port and starboard wings had to be pinched to get them to mount.

I'll reattached the rigging ends after everything else is complete. Waiting for everything to dry and then gloss coat.
