Thanks chaps. Got the landing gear assembled and painted, and some detail painting done on the airframe. Hoping to get the remainder of the small decals done tomorrow, along with the home made serial number decals, then continue with construction.
Spent hours looking at photos, checking details and areas of wear and tear, staining etc. Seems virtually every Harrier is different - some almost pristine, and others, at the extreme, a patch work of greys!
My subject appears to be in the 'almost pristine' class, although with some exhaust staining, so I'm applying a little artistic licence, just to break the monotony of the overall grey.
Should have some progress pics tomorrow, meanwhile thanks again for your interest and good wishes.

Thanks guys. Going to take a lot more than warm weather to fix a snapped tendon Bob! (and the temperature has dropped 18 degrees since yesterday!)
Currently applying the remainder of the decals, then hope to spray the semi-matt clear coat. Pics later tonight, all being well.

Thanks very much chaps.
Finally got all of the main airframe decals in place, although there's still a small shed-load to apply to the pylons, tanks and Sidewinders. Also got the main landing gear done, ready for attachment after the clear coat is applied, and the thrust nozzles and heat shields done.
PIC 1. Shows how the model looks to date, including some of the detail painting.
PIC 2. The tail number, sourced from individual 'press-fix' decals from the spare decals files, and the serial number, from home-made decals.
PIC 3. Many of the very small stencils are 'low-vis' grey, and don't show up very well here - which, of course, is what was intended on the real aircraft.
PIC 4. The main landing gear assembled and painted, although some slight touch-up is needed after handling. Note that the landing lamp and taxi lamp have yet to be fitted to the nose wheel leg.
Next step, once the decals have fully settled, is to apply a semi-matt clear coat overall, followed by the remainder of the detail painting, then start fitting the pylons and landing gear.
Hopefully, I'll have some more progress pics sometime over the weekend.

Thanks very much chaps, and yes Vic, the anti-collision strips were part of the decal sheet, with their locations also moulded on the fuselage/fin.
