I echo Wayne's post above but without the "Wow". There is no gap that could make an impression on me.
 
Finished up the cockpit tub and installed it in the fuselage. This together with a spreader bar and the proper dihedral put in almost eliminated all the gaps. What's left I can get with a little thick CA

Haven't posted here in a few days but I have been working.
Looking at pictures off the interior of the radiator outflow area (pics 12) compared with the cover piece used in the model (pics 34) I saw that that area was all wrong. After a lot of thought (including just saying to hell with it and gluing the kit part on) I began chopping up the cover plate (pic 5) and started building a more correctly shaped out flow with scrap bits of plastic. Pic 6 shows the main insert I built in its rough form and pics 78 show the test fitting after some trimming. The insert still needs a lot of sanding, shaping and filling and I'll add cowl flaps made out of bits of aluminum beer can.
