So today i got the fuselage together, i forgot to take a picture of the cockpit tub before i closed up the fuselage sides !

Tackled the rather complicated Jaguar main landing gear.

The parts, there is another small right angle part i hadn't seen until I'd taken this pic

Both sides assembled, went together amazingly well once I'd figured out how it should've looked like.

Good stuff - did you rememebr the nose weight ?
BTW, I've got a shed load of detail pics I took at Cosford and Newark, including the main and nose gear, speed brakes etc., if you need them.

yep i remembered to put weight in the nose !

i also have the Aero detail book on the Jaguar which though in black and white have great detail pictures and descriptions, it was this i consulted when the instructions called for yellow chromate primer

So yesterday i painted the Jaguar ocean grey.

this lunchtime i drew on the camouflage boundaries for the dark green using a pencil.

Then spent 90 minutes or so painting on the dark green and am pretty happy !
There are some areas i need to mask and paint black and also need to mask and paint the lower rear fuselage aft of the jet nozzles aluminium, then paint a few blade antenna a tan colour.
