Thank you gentleman.

tomorrow i plan to mask and paint the black anti glare panel on the nose, the black wing root Ariel and fin tip, the rest of the fin and rudder will be dark blue and also check any other bits i may have missed.

Do love a Jaguar. The first ever plane (even commercial) that I ever sat in as a kid at RAF Cosford Airshow.

Anyway, good work, and at this rate Karl you'll be hitting the max 4 GB entry limit in no time.

Thanks, this will be my last entry for this group build.
Even though I'll be off work until july at the earliest, I'll be building just for me after this one, even if it will fit the build criteria

Cheers Wayne.

sad to say this build has come to a crashing halt ! :(

the Heller decals are completely unusable, they all have a white line around them, they also just do not stick down and will not conform to the model surface and microsol has zero effect, even with multiple doses.

I am looking to buy some aftermarket decals but this will more than likely require a subject change.

Very annoyed right now

My oh my oh my............look what happens in the blink of an eye, can hardly keep up with you but lookin good from here, be good when the decals arrive.

Almost forgot i had taken pics of what I'd done today before the decal debacle.

Fin painted blue, tip black

Exhaust area painted aluminium, the two squares are the flare dispenser boxes, ive noticed the square sections were mostly unpainted

black ariel panel on the wing root and nose anti glare panel, not happy with nose panel so will tidy that up and increase its size

Gun muzzles painted aluminium, these will be toned down with some dry brushing to an almost brown tone.

Heres what the decals look like !

these are no step areas marked with a dashed line with no step stencil, these have had 4 doses of microsol !
Needless to say these will be removed as the new set has stencils included.
