Got a little bit done tonight.. Cleaned it up a bit , added the gun sight and the seatbelt decals, Also my squadron letters came in this week. The Tamiya decal sheet has 1999 printed on it but there was no micro cracking , it just took a little more time in water to get the belts to release from the backing paper.

Got some work done on it today. Using the tamiya extra thin cement for the first time. Knocked the gun sight off, while I was sanding. Couldn't find it on the carpet , thought it was a goner. Got off my knees and back into my chair, pick up the fuselage and what falls out... the gun sight.

I looked at tsome pictures of 418 Squadron, and it seems they used the wing tanks a lot. In "Terror in the Starboard Seat", Dave McIntosh says that they ( him and his pilot, Sid Seid) only flew with bombs once. It was long range tanks and shoot anything that moves.
