Thanks guys. Moving forward, I finished the repairs, I had an extra set of the Quanta Studios so as to act as spares.

Took a bit of filing to get it all to mesh but it did indeed.

And then mating to the left fuselage. I have the two halves clamped together as it was a little bit of a fuss to set the cockpit in correctly. Once I saw how it was supposed to go it was fine but quite a bit of dry fitting to get it correct.

Still awaiting the mail and it's six PM. My regular mail carrier has my mail in by 1:30 PM

First shot of Camouflage Grey on the main bottom.

Used Vallejo camouflage grey, I have also AK acrylic Camouflage grey and thinking I'll try a comparison. I ran about a 25% thinner and three drops of flow improver on this and I'm trying to do a slow build up to keep the black bleeding through. Bottom of these birds are pretty dirty especially as you get back to the engine bay area.

Well I'm liking how this is looking. slow light coats and I'm where I think I want to be on the bottom of the fuselage and wing.

Might do some dark grey for panel lining maybe a little black but I mostly like what I've got so far.
The top pf the fuselage has a center top panel to cover up the seam. Had a little fussing with it to reach both the right and left sides and seems a very minor recess one side. I ran a bead of Tamiya surface primer down it and I'll sand that down. I think it will fix it fine.

Got the lip taken care of and installed the aft upper surface behind the cockpit.

And there was a GAP!

Pulled out the Evergreen, stuffed it in and trimmed and filed/sanded down.

And it was primer time, using Tamiya spray white primer.

I'll see how it all cleans up and run from there.

Paint too watery and spraying too close? Just a thought
I started with just the Vallejo black model air. It was mucking up the needle to much so I added a couple drops of flow improver. Then I added about five drops of Vallejo thinner. Still had the issue though out. I think I'll try the AK to do the wing preshading. Don't really like using the AK, that lacquer is a WHOOOO.

Thanks for the inputs guys. appreciate it. This has gone pretty near flawless till now. The lower fuselage was a real bugger! It started with the gun hub/bulge in front of the gear well. It was a super tight fit. had to pry it out slightly and it SNAPPED into place. then the aft section through the wing section of the lower fuselage was a pretty good fit but once it got to the nose well section, it just turned into a fusser. Needed to octopuses to get all 16 arms to contort it into playing. I worked the left side in first gluing and clamping and letting it set. The right side on the other hand I had to work in sections. First from the wing inlets and up about a half and inch. Had to squeez in the lower fuselage and press up the bottom. onto it. had three clamps going. I won though (I think).
