Well here is where I am at.
I wanted to get a bit more of the "dirty" up going and so I used to AK African dust effects wash for the tires. First I painted the tires NATO black, I then went down the center treed with RLM66 to lighten up the contact section, I then did the AK dust effects and cleaned off the excess with enamel thinner.
I used some pastels chalk to lay down exhaust stains on the booms.
And as you might have noticed the cockpit is in place. About to do the canopies and the wrap-ups.
