Hey guys thanks for following and giving me your input.
So I started using AK grime in the engine area and booms as well as upper inner wing areas.
The AK is a lacquer base. This was the issue as to clean up I used a small brush which I dabbed dry from Tamiya lacquer thinner. I brushed back towards the back to streak back. I think I mostly like what I got. There was an issue where the thinner ate through the floor polish so not what I wanted. Not showing yet I used Tamiya black panel liner on the nose and lower inner wing. It's enamel so no issues on clean up.
