I needed to get the sand / mud on the fuselage and tail as this aircraft was DIRTY!!! The pastel chalks were not sticking like I wanted and after talking to Dale he suggested lightly spraying distilled water and applying the chalks, I instead made a slurry of the chalk and water and brushed it on.
That sure looks good, Don. Very nice weathering on this one. Reading your build thread sure has me interested in the Lightnings / T-bolts build doing a Lightning.
