What is that on the window? It looks like a handle to open it but why the wires? That interior is far too good to never be seen. Any chance the starboard side could be left detached?

Some progress pictures. The cockpit is finished as much as I can finish it. I'm pretty happy with it, it's more or less mostly accurate.....I think. Next to join fuselage up and get into some putty and sanding, maybe an adult beverage or two ! I hate putty and sanding and it's gonna need it !

Bondo bucket. The sanding begins. Too bad none of these survived. Slap the fuselage down on a Toyota 4X4 chassis and you'd have one funky RV !
