I whipped up a little two part epoxy to fill in the gaps. I checked windshield fit before to make sure there would not be an iss there, If anything it's a bit wide, so we're all good there.

I just can't help myself.
At 10 years old 1953, my grandparents gave me a Transistor radio.
It lasted about a week. That was when I first saw the innards of a radio.
I learned taking apart stuff from my grandfather!
