I whipped up a little two part epoxy to fill in the gaps. I checked windshield fit before to make sure there would not be an iss there, If anything it's a bit wide, so we're all good there.

Glad you have that area tacked down. Concerned it may be a repeat performance from a previous build looking like a photo of the real thing!! Of course it's big enough to almost be.

Shame about those nasty gaps and obviously not little as you can see the size of the model against the your hand that's holding in, it's huge.

Just a test fit. Had an obstruction in each wing I had to cut out for the connecting part to go in! Looks like one could change from fold to straight. Maybe I'll have to try.

I just can't help myself.
At 10 years old 1953, my grandparents gave me a Transistor radio.
It lasted about a week. That was when I first saw the innards of a radio.
