Well she is buttoned up, it was a bit of a struggle with some scraping required on the inside walls to thin them out a bit and I had to modify the inner wall around the IP even to the extent of punching a couple of holes where the windscreen sides will be mounted. Once the IP was fitted though, these were filled in.

Moving on.............................We have wings and an engine. I decided not to spend any time on sprucing up the engine as much of it is lost behind the cooling fan.

Vic, re those holes you filled in on the coaming, the actual aircraft did have elongated holes there for hand grips.

Thanks Andy, I realized this but if I open them up again, I'll have the tips of the PE from the IP exposed, so it's sort of taking the lesser of the two evils, fill in or look crap.

Thanks for looking in and the kind words folk. So were into the boring stuff now, the final sort outs before slapping on some paint.

I was not happy with the cannon holes on each wing so decided to plug them and start again.

Time to mount the nose cowlings and line up the MG nose furrows.

Then it was masking time.
