Closing up the fuselage. I have two AK acrylic lacquers for RLM 02. One is labelled 1938, the other 1941. I went with the 1941 but it seems a little too green ? Well it's in there now so going with it, besides it won't be that noticeable afterwards.

Well the fuselage is together as is the lower wing portion. I went to the engines, sprayed the exhaust nozzles with gun metal black. Then I used a some ground up graphite to give everything a more metallic look but it's not very noticeable. Wings and engine nacelles ready to assemble. Now the matter of filling panel lines with filler, Oo yeah bondo work deluxe ! I can see now there's going to ne a lot of bondo work !

Well I was warned, thanks Greg, I wouldn't say the nacelles are a poor fit, more like they don't fit. I don't recall it being an issue when I built the Airfix 262B. In fact I don't recall any Airfix having as bad a fit as this one. Lots of filing and sanding, the starboard nacelle fits but still will need a bit of filler to even it out. Port side is next up.
