Or something like that... However the modeller used a little bit too dark paints for the scale, I think.

i had to mix this colour to match your photos Wojtek,what do you think
 
rudder tips now redone plus i've given it another coat of clear gloss varnish to fill any marks in the paintwork and seal the markings,pics to follow shortly
 
the red bands are painted on,to get the period look for the tail markings i used 2 small Finnish rondals ,painted out the blue cross and then once dry added the german marking of the time

To compare your first attempt and the second one to the B&W picture. It can be clearly seen that the difference between the RLM61 Dark Brown and RLM62 Medium Green tonalities is noticed barely ( pic 3 and 4).Contrary to that the difference in the first shot isn't that we can notice in the B&W picture.

thats a good way of checking the colours are right Wojtek,never thought of copying into black and white to see the contrast ,good job

matt varnish now applied as well as some detailing including replacement prop blades, aerials, df loop etc,still the undercart doors to make and fit ,plus a few other bit's and bob's
