Duxford Thunderbolt engine run today

    The Thunderbolt under restoration at Duxford, has had some engine runs today. Not sure if its the first...looks like a first run judging from the slight missfire and smoke, but that soon all clears up.

    I am really looking forward to see this beaut in the air at Duxford. She is a gorgeous shape and sound !!

    Brilliant! Thanks for posting. Razorback Thunderbolts make the big beast look even bigger! Will be smashing to see it fly. I soooo miss going to Duxford... :(

    Yes, it's 78th FG, who were actually based at Duxford during WW2.

    Duxford would be a great place to visit. I am at a loss for good show or museum in Iowa. Thanks for sharing the video! The Thunderbolt looks beautiful!
