Correction:
Thanks to Georg Morisson one of pilot is Oblt. Wilhelm-August 'AuWi' Schumann of 5./JG52 and 5./JG52 was based at Demidow from 24.7.41 - 5.8.41 according ww2.dk

German Nachtjagd Pilot Walter Piwarz, hier als Oberfeldwebel der II./NJG1 mit Orden. Vorher schon Absturz mit seiner Bf 110 E-2 (Werknr. 4386 ) der 4./ZG76 am 13. Juli 1941 in der Nordsee 10 km westlich Insel Texel, Holland. Später dann noch bei der NJG4 und NJG2, 3 Luftsiege, ua Bomber in Amiens, Frankreich, am 13. Juni 1944. Gefallen am 14./15. Oktober 1944 in seiner Ju 88 G-1 "4R+NS" (Werknr. 712236) als Stabsfeldwebel der 8./NJG2 nordwestlich Gütersloh, infolge Luftkampf mit Mosquito der Sqn.Ldr. B.A. Burbank der 85. Squadron RAF.

Nachtjagd Bordfunker Eugen Pieper, hier noch als Feldwebel der 4./ NJG1, später gefallen am 1. Februar 1945 als Feldwebel der 12./NJG2 in Ju 88 G-6 "4R+NW" (Werknr. 620814) der Uffz. Hans-Otto Braasch in Ostpreussen (vermisst im Raum Königsberg / Ellakrug / Molchengen / Nautzken), nach Schlachteinsatz am Brückenkopf Küstrin.
