This is an IS-2 of the Polish 4th Heavy Tank Regiment. The Polish White Eagle crest on a red diamond-shaped background with thin white outline can be noticed on the front of the turret. The pic was taken during the Berlin Operation 1945. Also please notice the lack of the last, rear road wheel. Here is another shot of her ...

Additionally here is a pic of the another IS-2 of the number "434" of the same Regiment crossing the same destroyed bridge. Contrary to the "424" the "434" lost its next to last road wheel.

This style vehicle was on TV news in Haiti as common transport. Looks identical, perhaps a non German engine being the difference, as well as newly constructed unit.
