The "3C" is not the nr but the radio code of the tank company. The tank is our known acquaintance "Poitou II" no.451 of the 37e BCC, 3e Compagnie that was destroyed on the field at the road near the Denée village. On her left side there was the Char B named "Guepratte" no. 438 standing on the road.

Char 1 bis Ys ? under trees

And it is the fourth Char 1Bis damaged on the road near the Denée village. I have added her name to the pic from my post with the link above. It is the tank seen in the background behind the "Guepratte" no. 438 and standing left to the "Souain" no. 407 but slightly forward. That's the Char 1Bis no.409 "YSER". The tank belonged to the the 37e BCC, 3e Compagnie, the 1st Section togeter with the "Guepratte" no. 438, "Ypres" no. 408. The "Souain" no. 407 serviced in the 2nd Section. The "Poitou II" no.451 was the commander's tank of the 3e Compagnie hence the radio code 3C.
