Yes there is: Harlem is named after Haarlem, an ancient old city, Broadway is just denglish for "Brede weg" as it was named by the Dutch back in the day etc.
No wonder they have trouble in Spanish Harlem then. I believe thats why a "white rhino" got its name but from Dutch/Africaans for wide.
