Well the 2021 NFL season has officially started. Got to say I am excited about this season. I expect a good run by my 49ers this year. This is also the first 17 game season.

Look, I know the NFL is unpopular amongst a certain demographic. If you fall into that demographic don't post in this thread. Don't even read it. Just keep scrolling. I don't want to hear your political BS. I don't want to read the "I'm boycotting the NFL" posts. Why because I don't care.

I may be the only person that posts in this thread, and I am ok with that. I love the sport, and you won't ruin it for me like you did last year.

Anyhow, here are my week 1 picks.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-33 Dallas Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons 24-17 Philadelphia Eagles
Buffalo Bills 26-24 Pittsburgh Steelers
Carolina Panthers 22-13 New York Jets
Minnesota Vikings 20-17 Cincinnati Bengals
San Francisco 49ers 36-17 Detroit Lions
Jacksonville Jaguars 24-21 Houston Texans
Seattle Seahawks 30-27 Indianapolis Colts
Arizona Cardinals 27-22 Tennessee Titans
Los Angeles Chargers 23-19 Washington Football Team
Kansas City Chiefs 33-25 Cleveland Browns
New England Patriots 27-24 Miami Dolphins
Green Bay Packers 37-23 New Orleans Saints
New York Giants 22-21 Denver Broncos
Los Angeles Rams 32-21 Chicago Bears
Baltimore Ravens 26-15 Las Vegas Raiders

I just have a question:

Which team can be champion in your opinion and expectations?

Pleasantly surprised by the Steelers ability to overcome the considerable shortcomings of their O line and get past a great Buffalo team having a bad day. Their defense and special teams looked great. They kept up pressure on Josh Allen for the whole game and caused the Bills to take a lot of penalties.

Being a Chiefs fan since I met Buck Buchanan when I was 13, these are such exciting times. They are so much fun to watch, it's never over until it's over. Since Patrick came along we always seem to have 3 or 4 "heart attack" games. I have always enjoyed watch them, now it is such an event in these parts. Training camp is held here in St Joe and to run into players out and about is just awesome. They can go out to eat or shopping or whatever and NOT get mobbed. Patrick makes many unannounced no-media visits to children's ward at the hospital while in town. He and the Chiefs are almost too good to be true. GO CHIEFS !!!!

Excited for the new season. Big Steelers fan. BTW they beat the Bills. Came out flat in the first half but TJ Watt, Ben and his receiving corps of JuJu Smith Shuster, Diontae Johnson and fellow Canadian Chase Claypool kicked it up a notch in the second half and came out with the win. GO STEELERS GO!

I've been a Steelers fan since I was 6-years old and they got a little lucky last week, but the defense did play well when they had to. I'm not sure about this week. They've had a hard time beating the Raiders the past few years for some reason. The Raiders certainly were not impressive in the win on Monday night, but they did not give up. Der Alder, you are a braver man than I to pick every game each week.
