A friend just sent me some photos taken at the Fagen Fighters Airshow of 16 June. The airplanes are gorgeous and the photos are terrific.

Great pics !
Got me in the mood for 'Flying Legends' at Duxford this weekend - meeting up with Karl (Rochie), Marcel and his father and law, and Sander (Kingscoy) from Holland, and Grant (Nuumaann) from NZ.

Great Museum. Ended up not making it on show day, but did go the days before and watched them go though some practice runs.

If you even find yourself near western Minnesota stop into the Fagen Fighters Museum. Lots of neat stuff. Omar Bradleys jeep, Jimmy Doolittles uniform, memorobilia, a giant library, and I almost forgot, awesome WW2 Airplanes. I heard they just added an Hellcat to the mix, but it is undeergoing IRAN and hopes to be flying next year. Now they just need to find themselves a P-47.

I am quite impressed with the photography. But I am am even more impressed that the photographer managed to get someone to put the sun in the correct place. Contrast those photos with this shot of mine from a few days ago where they put the sun in the wrong place.
