Well, it's finished, and has been for a little while, but I only got around to taking the photos today. Lots of things I'm not happy with; little divots in the leading edge of the wings that I missed filling, the paintwork isn't opaque enough on the top of the wings (should have preshaded it), and inconsistent in parts in terms of darkness. The flaps also look not so good, but they were a real pain to attach. Some it is caused by laziness to be sure. I'm also not sure I love how the aerial line turned out, may go with a thinner gauge on my F4U. The prop shaft also either got bent at some point or was warped, so while it's hard to see from above, from below you can see there is a gap at the bottom of the spinner. I was unable to fix it as I didn't notice the severity until it was too late, and I didn't want to ruin something else. Overall, it looks good on the shelf, I mostly had fun building it, and I haven't really built a Bf 109 before so it's nice to add it to the collection. Judges, please feel free to publicly critique it in the hopes that it not only helps me, but others.
