P-47D-15-RE of 57th Fighter Group operating out of Corsica, Italy, 1944. This particular plane was christened The Wog and was piloted by Stanley Morrow.

Thank you guys! I really enjoyed this one and I think the quality of the Tamiya kit had a lot to do with that. I am definitely on board the Tamy bandwagon now! I had mixed results with some of the finishing techniques used, especially the hairspray chipping, but I am happy with the way it all turned out.
