Cory I did a drawing of this Corsair for the Aug. 1967 IPMS magazine ! If I remember correctly the info came from the IWM. The aircraft no. was 137, sometimes they were split like this or marked fully forward of the insignia.
"13" was in black on the starboard u/c door and "7" on the port ( standard practice ).
The first number ( "1" ) designated a single-seat fighter."P"= no. 1 CAG on "Victorious".
