A possible Chetverikov MDR-6?

Both reports are from Finnish National Archives Service (Kansallisarkisto).

Ps. I can help you to find a specific combat report, if needed, from the Finnish Archives. All the c. 3000 - 4000 reports made during the Winter War and Continuation War are there. Just send a PM.

I agree with your choice Mangrove, however this line is a little confusing;

Single tail, gunner behind the vertical stabilizers and a dorsal gun.

Do you think he meant something like this? (Especially as he is approaching from behind);

"Single tail, gunner behind the vertical stabilizer (not plural) with a dorsal gun".

It's possible. I don't have explanation for the dorsal gun but Juutilainen also claimed P-51s and P-38s because they both were in the Finnish identification manual.

In fact the Finnish manual from 1942 was a reprint from Soviet manual made in previous year for own troops. Finns just added the larger pictures.
