Thanks everyone for your replies from my kewel to the foretop, Build report for today is the construction and installation of the center wing unit. as per pictures here is t5he layout of the wing spars and ribs made from light cardboard once the spars and ribs were glued together I saturated the intire structure with Acc glue this stuff turns paper i9nto light plastic card very very stro9ng, thye ribs and spar was glued to the center wing section and the center wing was folded over and glued. once the unit has dreid I glued it to the bottom of the fuselage and add all ofr the fillets once the fillets has dreid i burnished the center wing and add the weathering so it will belnd in with the fuselage, As of now leting everything dry and tomorrow i will construct the two outer wing panels.

I have a C-152 card kit somewhere and recently got a 1/33 P-47 and am thinking of working on them. I haven't built a card model before, but have done lot's of plastic models. I got the P-47 because it has the formers I need to build a full size fuselage. I'll blow up the formers to full scale and go from there. Do you think I should do the C-152? How do I get started, stuff to buy and fold the paper without getting wrinkles?

Yes what ever you decide to build one thing one must remember card models are not forgiving as plastic and balsa wood models one little mistake and you are cooked goose.. unless your kits are downloadable and can be duplicated as many times desired, for glueing buy some aleens Tacky glue you will see the bo0ttle on my build thread all formers and spars ribs have to be doubled useing light cardboard or bristol board.. this will give the structure added strength tools needed to get you started is a exacto No.11 blade tacky glue rulers, sissors dowling and a teaspoon the teaspoo0n will be your burnishing tool go ahead and make a desission on what you are goping to build i will help you out if you get stuck or in doubt.

t6hank you all very much fellas for youir replies the oild gooney bird is starting to look like3 a Skytrain, on the following photos shows the constructionj of the outer wing panels the outer wing panels are treated the same way as the center wing section... The wings went on without sa fuss I a, letting these dry overnight in the morning i will do a littloe burnishing here and there on the wings from my stand pont it dont need much they are true and straight no warps, I will feather in the weathering like as done on the fuselage once that is done its the engine nacelles and lastly the undercarriage and props then it will be time to start another build perhaps a B-24 Liberator..
