Here is a giant of a airplane and build I been getting a few good nibbles on building a B-36 Peacemaker I will build that when I finish this one up. I all ready ordered the monogram B-36 I should be getting it one day this week coming up. Okay Dudes here's the upshot this a card kit by gomix flymodel on the scale of 1/33 I had the kit blown up to the scale of 1/24 with a wingspan of 46 inch,s big enough for all of us to enjoy a good kit it is I will start on it in the morning and get a few pictures posted during the build.

Looks like this one is going to be a cracker! Would look great with some 1/24th scale Paras dropping out of it - British paras of course!!

The Build has Begun





On the first pictures show the cutted out parts of the cocpit compartyment they were assemled accordingly after all parts were assemblede I touched up the cut marks with water based paint, Next I will close in the cockpit the pictures will be shown on its contruction tomorrow.

Okay fellas old boats wont let you all down on this one its going together smoothly, for the update build rep-ort on the skytrain I have compoleted the pilots compartment as per instructions all of the parts have been added later on i will do some touch up work with the trusty airbrush. As of now just co0mpleted the pilots compartment next i will add the acetate windows then proceed aft until the fuselage is completed. here are the update pix for the day more tomorrow.

Looking good Boats. Just a tip... it is better to tinge all edges of a part with a proper ink before sticking or assembling the piece together..

Thanks Fellas for your replies I am always Honored. Ok Guys back to the Skytrain Build report for now more coming this evening On the folllowing pictures shows the construction of skin 3 and 4 and thier formers. All edged are colored in before assembly this will get rid of all of the white paper that has been cutted out. One thing I forgot to mentioned is matching the color to the printing on the kit. it is very difficult you have to have a keen eye to mixing colors I got a little bleed through with the olive drab coloring on the nose pof the ship but once the fuslelage unit is completed I will tak my airbrush and fill in the the proper color I am spending time now mixing up the color to match the printing. The forward section of the fuselage is done and I am proceeding aft until done, letting the unit dry when dry I will take my burnishing tool and smooth out the seams and get rid of them I hate seams the model is build exactley like the real machine former to former and their skins gives it relisym here are the following pictures. Wojtek I have no access to ink as you mention good ole Buddy maybe you can help me to obtain the ink, Here are the pix.
