Got a bit ahead of myself, I was so working on weighting the nose I forgot to take extra interior pictures. Anyway I stuffed the nose gear well full of shredded lead and I used sheet lead to make the bombardiers floor as stuffed extra under the back of the floor as well a strip down the crawl tunnel. I also stuffed the space behind the Instrument panel with shredded lead. All of this to hold the nose down with the twin tail is on. Without the tail the weight in the nose gear is enough.
The bombardiers section was a pain as it was warped inwards at the top and I did not note it soon enough to try and steam it out.

So dumb question, As the tail code is a standard 6 character number, and the 4 is not used, should this be 304082?
No. The s/n is not necessarily a 6-digit number - it depends on the block of serials. In this case what you see is 34082. Similar to the a/c below:
3 digits (last 3 or first 3, depending on the side) should be on the rudder.

oddal thanks. needed conformation as USAF would be 80008 for a tail number and we would simply refer to it as balls 8. (By the way that would be 68-0008 (C-5A))

So I spit some patin at the B-25 today. Used Vallejo 71.092 Medium Olive Green for the upper and will shoot Neutral Grey on the bottom. I'll have to do a bunch of weathering as it's way too clean. This is where I really am at a loss, weathering.

OK so I've decided to use six 500 lbrs for the bomb load. The kit comes with three 1000 lbrs. I did not like the look for whatever reason and I stole some 500 lbs bombs form a couple of kits. I need to reconfigure the bomb racks and using the charts from B-25 thread on this site I'll configure either the six 500 ore a combination of 1000 and 500. I also have some what looks to bee 300 or 250 lbs bombs that can be worked with. Pauls weapons bay configuration charts will help greatly. I also picked up the Print scale US WWII and Korea bomb stenciling decal set. I picked up three, but have them so I can print out more myself. Oh did I say that, forget you heard that. I need to weather the He** out of this now.

Weather away. Start subtle the build up from there. Very easy to overdo.
