So, here is my artwork for a cutting file to make masks for the cloud pattern.
Just hoping it woks Or I'm going for decals.
The BLUE only indicates ones that are not a closed shape, for reference.
There is another A4 sheet for Port and Starboard.

Well, seems I am out of this one.

This is what the cut film looks like, brilliant!

Except, he didn't cut All of it.
Didn't do the Port or Starboard sides.............or the underneath at the nose and tail.
No time for him to do what he missed. Actually haven't told him.
I have done a test on a PVC tube, painted the dark green, MM rattle can.
Did a small mask piece, sprayed the Tan, MM rattle can, removed the mask............ and perfect.
Then came back to my bench and What The.....................................

But his little cutting machine did a bute job. Nice thin film and nicely cut.
Bummed.

What a drag ! You could try water colour pencils, I used one on my 1:72 scale mistel and they seemed to work well. The other thing worth a look is make up pencils, I thing eye liner ? Come in dozens of colours, never tried one myself but you never know ?

Would love to see how this turns out, despite missing the GB.

Mee too!!!!!!!
These little craft cutters are brilliant.
Gary was cutting masks for 1/32 serials as well as markings.
I wanted to do the mask bit on this one because of all the Silvering I would get with my bad decaling skills.
I think he's using a Silhouette Portrait hobby cutter. Took an effort to convert my Corel dwg tho. But the result is brilliant.
