The ones I got with my 1/48 Airfix Brit Mustang are 21mm in diameter which would represent a 40 inch roundel. I have several pairs at 17mm diameter. Another pair 28mm. Another pair at 26mm. No extras that are 21 though. You can have any of the above except the Airfix ones which I need for my build.
This is what I had printed by STS Decals in the US to suit my Mustang.
The blank area was the images for my Corsair GB61.

It's not expensive, this was $15.00 US, my postage to Australia was astronomical!!!
So the 21,s would be about correct, I measured it at ~20MM or~.78 like Bill said .75. The ones that came int he decal set are about the 26mm and WAY too big..
